Won three Grand National go-kart
championships before the age 16 In 2000, as an
18-year-old, finished second in the world-renowned Formula Ford Festival in
the UK, an event that has produced Formula One World Champions like Alain
Prost, Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill.
In 2002, made her CART debut at the Barber Dodge Pro
Series in the United States. In April of that year, won the pro division in
the Toyota Pro/Celebrity event at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach,
defeating the likes of four-time Trans-Am champion Tommy Kendall and Indy
500 driver Sarah Fisher.
In 2003, signed a contract with Team Rahal to compete in
the Toyota Atlantic Championship. |
